El aguacate. Fruto que contiene compuestos diversos que tienen efecto protector ya sea a nivel de prevención o de tratamiento nutricional en padecimientos como el síndrome metabólico, aterosclerosis, obesidad, sobrepeso, y en signos como niveles altos de LDL, oxidación del colesterol LDL de pequeñas partículas, altos niveles de insulina o glucosa postprandial, niveles bajos de luteína en la mácula de la retina. Excelente también para embarazadas y madres lactantes.
